So...I'm not the only one who had that problem rear its stinky head. I told my wife she had better pick up after our 4 dogs before it all freezes - I even got her some trash bags. Then I sat back and had a beer. No, just kidding, I drew the short straw. After all that rain I knew the snow load was going to be a bear on the roof so while she picked up doo I shoveled as much as I could off the roof before it re-froze. I wish I could do it from the ground but its a 4/12 pitch 2 stories up so I'd need a 40 foot roof rake to do it from below.
