the "home" key on your keypad

after all these years I just found out that the "home" key will take you to the top of a page and the "end" key to the bottom. After all those long pages of scrolling, what a idiot!

shhhhhhh don't tell anyone;) this I didn't know it either lol wow I feel like I have been freed from my mouse lol sometimes me and my mouse don't get along lol :D THINK SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and if it doesn't take you to the bottom or top, sometimes you have to hit the ctrl/home or end key at the same time.

also I just looked at the keyboard again the 7 key on the number pad is the HOME key the 9 on the number pad is the PAGE UP key also the 3 KEY is the PAGE DOWN key and the 1 key on the number pad is the END key Go figure lol :EEK: now me and my mouse will get along ;)

I got another one for you, you probably know this one. Press the F11 button, most useful when looking at pics or if you just want to get rid of all the clutter, hit it again and it's back to browser and tool bar's. The Google tool bar is the best in my opinion because of the spell check, works great for JD's posting

Hey...let's name this "lenny's computer class 101"

Remember that if yur gunna use the 7 or 1 key u need to hit the number lock key first to make sure the green light goes off. Leavin the green light on...well, I can't tell you all the bad stuff that heppen if'n yah do that.....

Actually the key pad info has been on key boards since way back in the days of the VIC 20 got puters rolling big time.

I love all this info. I grew up just before the computer age and I am learning all this stuff on my own time. My job does not require a lot of computer knowledge so I know just enough to get by. Now all I have to do is remember all of these tips when I need them.

Hit and hold Spacebar to scroll Down. Hit and hold Shift key and Spacebar at the same time to scroll Up.

Type the website you want into the address bar. Press ctrl and enter at the same time. It will put in the www. And the .com in for you.

nice, I like that one. Keep em rolling guys. Who needs that Scherer guy on tv trying to sell his cd's, he aint got nothin on us
