THIS PAST WEEKEND (TROUT CREEK AREA) IT SEEMED THAT THE MOON WAS REALLY MOVING QUICK AS IN IT WAS AT HIGH NOON POSITION THEN IN NO TIME AT ALL 3 O CLOCK THIS WAS AROUND 11 OR MIDNIGHT, OR AM I JUST SEEIING THINGS

Well, astronomy is really not my specialty, but I cannot think of any reason why the moon would appear to travel more quickly in the UP than anywhere else.

The position of the moon in the sky is dependent on the rotation of the earth as well as the moons travels around the earth.

Yaa Snake. I was in the N. Lower and there was a sliver of a moon in the western sky early evening and just at dusk it dropped outta sight in the horizen.

I also thought it seemed to drop pretty quick.
