Looks to be showing up in the early morning hours of September 2nd with clear skies over the midwest.
Consider aurora-watching in a quiet, dark area away from city lights between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.​

Thanks for sharing. I have fond childhood memories of going up on the garage roof in the middle of the night to watch the northern lights. We'd yip and howl to get the coyotes to respond to us, too.
