The Parkview in Twin Lakes at 1:00

3-4 of us were heading Sunday- Tuesday for a little early season ride but one of the guys wants to still hunt so we pushed it back until the following Sunday. Can’t wait to rip down a trail again, hopefully this snow is just the beginning and waiting an extra week makes it even deeper!

Looking for a place to ride in the next few weeks. But I'm a rookie sled owner; bought them new last year and literally never had a chance to ride. Do we need to wait for groomed trails to appear, or are you guys just blazing trails on your own? Please educate me as my son and I would like to get out within ~4 hours of the Twin Cities.

Hotels and motels are pretty much booked up for next weekend already. Just had a little panic attack trying to get a place. Ended up at the adventure in, in Mass city.

With the weather forecasts as they are your safest bet is to head to the Keewenaw peninsula. Mass City To Copper Harbor will hopefully be groomed and rideable by next weekend?

Right now I'm riding on designated snowmobile trails, of which there are many in MN, MI and WI. The trails officially opened 12/1 here in MI, but they normally require at least 4" of snow to ride. The local areas will groom the trails when there is enough snow.

I'm not too familiar with MN trails. I would suggest starting your own thread in this forum to get more responses.
