My favorite show, Gold Rush, starts tonight with a 2 hour premiere. Great show!

I wonder if Parker will get out from under Tony's thumb this year. Tony is a funny guy though, always cussing and swearing, cracks me up! Minnie sure put him in his place last year with the purchase of the crane, lol. I'm glad my wife doesn't do that to me when I go look for new sleds......

I liked Tony until last night. Parker signed a contract that was sent to him, then Tony went back on it. I know "business is business" but I'm sorry....that's just not right.

I'm sure that Tony would have run that dredge without any safety stuff. Somebody saw the show last year and warned them that they better get it up to snuff.

I'm sick of the Hoffman's and hope The Kid buries them all. I miss the shows of a couple of years ago when you had more people mining....well at least on the show.

Yep here we go new season! Parker finally was able to push back Tony...long time coming. I doubt Tony will forget that one just not in his DNA.lol Time will tell but Tony & Parker always push /pull at each other.

I thought that was GREAT that Parker had the non compete with Gene Cheeseman and since Gene had already quit, Parker was able to use it to his advantage and put Tony over the barrel like that. It was pretty messed up that Tony was changing the land contract after Parker agreed to the first one, that even had changes from the year before that he didn't like. I like that Parker kid, h€|| of a good work ethic. And a real go getter. Think he'll be very successful no matter if he stays mining or does something else.

I like all of the crews, especially the Hoffmans! Without Todd, there is no show. He got it all going.

I liked how Parker turned the tables also. Tony deserved it IMO.

Ya gotta wonder how much of this "drama" is made for TV. I'm sure Gene knew he had a no compete, or it could have been all just prearranged to keep us TV junkies tuning in. Either way its a fun show to watch and keeps us occupied until the snow comes......

Very true seems staged...Parker & Gene both knew about the non compete clause when Parker asked Gene to return. Gene just said "No" "not maybe" so something was already cooking with Tony. Tony had not signed Parker's contract so he already had started twisting Parker's arm for a reason which seemed was restricting clause to mine only for Tony on his land but turned out to be the Gene barter. All scripted for us fans....but REALLY are we that gullable?

You are right, Scripted entertainment... That's all it is.

Yep all in fun but the acting & verbal discussions are laughable as these shows have progressed....Yukon Men was really getting corney with the verbal stuff and acting ....it was like "come on man" I could do better than that! LOL :)

I've watched every episode since the start of this show and this was the first time watching it I felt "burned" out on the show.
It just seemed like it was the same script and same lines over and over year after year.
I mean how many times can Todd say, "this clean out is make or brake for us and if it isn't good were all going home". I'll still be watching it but just seems to have started to run its course with me.
