The Rush?

Poo most certainly needs a 4s upgrade from old in the tooth IQ to something else. It will take R&D of a new platform just like Doo did with XP 2s then to the 4s version. Poo also up to their necks in CFI 2s R&D so probably not a lot left for 4s. I agree & wish this would happen soon but if warranty costs are high on new 2s CFIs Poo board of directors may question why they are in snomo biz. Before anybody slams me for this because I ride an Apex Attak let me say I worry Yamaha will stay in the snomo biz as big loser for them too & spit in the wind to Yamaha Corporate. From what I have seen at 2 Poo Super Stores Rush sleds just NOT selling at all. Why only the customers, the Poo Faithfull, can tell you?

I loved my old poo. I was reading an arcticle from snow trax that went over the history of poo,"very informative". Poo for a time ruled the snowmobile world. The hiccups came with the 700 and 900. They will be back. I also saw some hints of a direct injection motor coming from cat soon.

I sure hope they put a 4s in the Rush, that's what I'm waiting for. I haven't heard anything yet about next year, it's too early. If not, I will be on a 2s Rush next year and try it out for a few years. I for one think Polaris is back on the right track starting with the new mountain sled. They seem to have really done that sled right! Every single review I have read says it's the new standard for mountain sleds. Now they will move on to other segments.

I'm not too worried about Polaris getting out of the snowmobile biz! I remember about 4 years ago a post on here that Polaris was for sure leaving the market in 3 years. Well, that's going on 2 years ago and they are still around.

I only see staying power in Doo for the long term they have a good product for each market segment. Yam very iffy way too expensive already, AC has not turned corner with direct injection going to PIA with their 2s engines growing pains. AC very good 4s. Poo could be ok if CFIs stop burning down & bring on new 4s platform. All these sleds are getting very expensive & market won't tolerate engine burndowns so I exspect the weak non profitable OEMs will have problems hanging on to sled divison. Not the way of corporate biz right now.
