The start of a new project...

Not sure how many people are into these old things but I always wanted an RXL and especially an SKS versrion of it. To me, nothing more satisfying than building yourself a sled and taking it out on a mid week pizza run with your buddies. I have already begun ordering parts (a nose cone too) and I will be tearing this sled down to the chassis and rebuilding it up from there. Yes, I have a newer sled but it's fun to take the old girls out too.

Don't forget to rebuild the lower-end and re-surface the crank by someone who knows what they are doing.

Some of these triples were junk from the Dealer new.
I had a 99 XLT 600 bought new and it was boggy and just all around a sad and miserable ride, sold it in a few months (and that was when I had no money).
Twins took over and left the triples..well they are gone.
Just a warning before worn knuckles turn into swearing and misery!

Thanks, kind of a fun hobby and a break from all of the beer virus stuff.
