those tracks you were wondering if it was a turtle....this is why I am THE TRACKER.....haha....that is a 5 lined skink which is one of 2 native LIZARDS in the U.P....rarely seen

when your on a beach...do you see lots of muskrats....or lizards.....and when your in the woods by a stream....do you see lots of muskrats....or lizards....I personally have never seen a muskrat on a beach but have seen hundreds of lizards on a beach.....LOL

Up here, you see all kinds of things at the beach in the spring & I can guarantee you the one lizard you might find if you turn over the right rock here is a salamander. Those particular tracks don't resemble a lizard, look at your own referred to photo.-Mezz
