The weather is killing me. Packers too.

These lackluster forecasts are killing me. Urge to kill rising...falling...RISING. No fresh snow in next few days make Homer go something something something...

Reference to the Shining and the Simpsons parody of it. Obviously venting my rising frustration since the snow blower never shut off with this last storm and chucked snow in non essential places and now there is nothing on Johns radar screen.

And then add to the fact that the Packer season is FUBAR'ed too. Losing to the Lions, losing the starting QB and then face the best team in the NFL the following week. Sweet. Get me a bottle of scotch, an Urlacher jersey, some skis and a Toyota Prius. I am now a hippy anti motorsport Bear fan. God help me.

Funny stuff. Being a Bears fan I cant say I am to upset about the packers playing the patriots. Last weekends beat down is still very fresh. Our division sucks this year big time. I don't even want to see the Bears make it to the playoffs.

Drive North.... there is snow :)

Yup, I agree with 440. It doesn't look like any new snow until after Christmas. I did manage to take the new TNT out for a first ride this week. Like most places, the fence lines are 3 feet deep and the plowed fields are mostly bare. Poor conditions in Winnebago County but managed to get a feel for the new ride. The 1200 4 tec pulls like nothing I've ever ridden before. Wondering whether I should haul it north for the Christmas break....

and don't get me started on the Packers! THERE'S a reason to go looking for your bottle of Scotch if there ever was one.

Wet/dry snow?

Wow, being a snowmobiler is maddening. Not only do we have to pray for snow, we have to pray for a certain type of snow. It has to be "wet" snow so it can pack down and form a base and not get blown away by high winds and spinning tracks. By the way, isn't snow just frozen water? Shouldn't "dry snow" be an oxymoron? (save me the meteorological explanations, it's just a joke, lol!)

And Matt Flynn v. the Patriots? Pass the scotch.

Our snow was really dry and has pretty much freeze dried to nothing. I will go out and cut wood before I waste an afternoon or evening watching an NFC Central game.

Buddy of mine who plows snow in winter said his company hauled 2200 loads of snow out from parking lots to the snow dump. I should get in contact with one of them and see if they could dump it on my club's trails where it's needed most.

Way to busy right now to get out. Hoping the trails are good somewhere after XMAS. I have off the holiday week, unless things really go awry at work.

As for the Packers, you have to take them for what they are. I didn't think they were ready for a SB run before the season. Just like they weren't quite ready in '93, '94 or '95. Way to many injuries this year. They have to improvise every week. They don't cause me to drink, I do it for the practice.

I have to go to E.R. and drink my father-in-law's rum tomorrow for XMAS.

Merry Christmas! Think Snow!
"GO PACK GO"
"GO BUCKY" in the Rose Bowl.

Gary, you have a pm.

Toolmaker, sorry I can't receive PM's here. I've had others send PM's and my Inbox is always empty. I've checked my Option Page too, no luck.

I agree, the Packers have been playing with second and third stringers most of the season. Difficult to compete consistently when missing the likes of Finley, Grant, etc. How many on I.R. now, 12 - 15?

Sounds like another Snowbowl on Sunday Night in New England. I'm not sure if that helps or hurts our chances.

In the pm I said we should get together for some riding. I'm usually up for a day trip to Oconto, Forest and Marinette ctys. I've unloaded at Chute Pond, Lakewood or Coleman before. It isn't very often the farm land holds snow around here. I'm from Dane/Columbia, so I'm used to that. Try to pm me to see if that works.
