Anyone up for an adventure this summer? 
Inspired by this from WLUC/TV6 Marquette:
(click →) "Three stand-up guys to cross section of Lake Superior on paddle boards".
(From Sinclair Cove, Ontario, to Whitefish Point (MI), total distance ≈40-45 miles? Hah! Pikers!)
I want to see them do it on paddleboards from say Eagle River (MI) to Isle Royale, total distance about the same (≈45 miles) — or better yet, from Au Train Beach to High Rock Bay at the tip o' the Keweenaw, total distance (≈80 miles).
Either one of those trips in kayaks would be potentially hair-raising enough, never mind paddleboards!
