Lumberjacks Take Their Whacks In Farwell

One event that rode out the questionable weather was the 10th Annual Lumberjack Festival in Farwell.
Professional wood carvers, a car show and a lumberjack show from the Upper Peninsula were the major draws today.
Organizers say that Farwell's long history with the lumber industry and the need for a community showcase created the idea.
The decade old festival has already become a local tradition and a major draw for an otherwise quiet town.
