Three Lakes / Eagle River

Looking to get area conditions for Three Lakes and Eagle River? I know this was one of the worst areas hit by the great New Years rain, but I also know it has been snow a little here and a little there...

Any comments or actual live coverage would be fantastic!

Go to Snowtracks.com and read Holly's report. They aren't even grooming until they get fresh, wet snow. They've had lake effect since last weekend, but fluffy, dry stuff. Can't imagine Three Lakes wld be any better. I'm not riding until things improve that's for sure. We had a great base and fairly good early season conditions, but 40+ degree's for two days and moderate rain kills things fast.

Up in Three Lakes right now. About 1-2 inches of new snow since last weekend. Looks like one or two people tried to ride the trails, and they brought up the dirt already. Trails are still in horrible shape around here, in my opinion. We trailered up to watersmeet today, and it was not very good there, headed up north of gogebic and found excellent conditions, 1 foot plus of fresh powder.

All true I live in er and in the last week since the warm up we have maybe 2" of dry fluff and the trails are ice and dirt. Before the warm up there where sleds all over now I go out at night and driving around during the day and don't hear a single sled

Eagle River/ Boulder/Conover Area's

I was up there that week and prior to the warm up the trails were good. Thursday that week it rained from noon to 6 pm along with being about 40 degrees ,the trails were to the mud. I would stay away from that area until they get alot! of snow.
