It's that time of year to set your clocks back one hour when you turn in on Saturday night. The good news is we'll gain an hour of sleep for one night and the days will continue getting shorter (less sunlight) for another month or so. Arizona and Hawaii are exempt. Most anything with a chip will set itself automatically, you'll need to roll back one hour on your older stuff with yesterday's technology.
footnote; Back in the early 90's, my siblings and I bought the folks their first VCR. The clock on that thing blinked 12:00 for the rest of their days. I guess Dad just didn't have the patience to learn to program it.
Lastly, any First Responder or Fire & Rescue will tell us it's a good time to check/replace the batteries in your Smoke Detectors. Some good advice right there!
