Tipler, WI Conditions

Can anyone comment on the current conditions in this area?

Rode the Tipler area on Friday, specifically the Nicolet grade and east toward Florence. Grade was excellent, no rocks showing at all. Trail going east was good in most areas, thin in others. Early season riding conditions, not sure how they held up this past weekend.

Brother rode out of Wabeno towards Tipler late last week and said it was great.

Rode to Tippler this past Tuesday and the trails were good. There are a couple of lower swamp like areas that weren't groomed through but were groomed up to and you could see where the groomer turned around so must not be frozen enough for the groomer to go through. Rode out of Land O Lakes Sunday through Tuesday and have to say was impressed with the trails for the little bit of snow they have had to work with. Every morning flat groomed trails and many times we were the first track on the trails. Stayed at Sunrise Lodge and would definitely go back there again. Lots of icy corners so be careful.

Rode from Lando and Phelps east towards Tipler and it was good! That was about a week ago

Not bad from Phelps, Tipler, Long Lake last Friday eve but they did need a haircut in most spots which they received over night. The twisties didn't hold up by later Saturday.
