tipping firecats

Which direction could you tip a Firecat to change wear rods and do basic maintenance underneath? Brake side to the ground or throttle side to the ground?

I think the owners manual says to tip the sled on the left side to avoid getting air in the oil injection lines. I assume that means left side when sitting on the sled and brake side down. But I want to be sure.

Sorry if I asked this same question 5 years ago. I can't remember if I asked and definitely can't remember the answer.

Right or wrong I always go to throttle side, my mentor did it that way twenty years ago and I have never had any issues.

Yes it is the left side. Don't forget to drain the ACT drive oil before you tip her over. Refill with 3oz. exactly, of synthetic drive lube.
