90 degrees in North Central Wis today bring on winter
One plus to having my sleds at home in the garage for the first time.
I can go out there, no matter the temp, fire 'em up, close my eyes and ..........
Just don't breathe too hard. It's not good for you. Oh, and it pisses my wife off to no end! That's the best part!
Summer Sucks!
So that's where the hot weather went!
Except for a brief two hours (2-4PM, MST) on Friday during which we very briefly hit a peak of 101°F (but with the humidity between 7-8%), we haven't otherwise seen high temps over 100°F so far this year in Phoenix, AZ! Yesterday's high was 79°F, and the forecast high for today: 81-82°F! Then back to the mid to high 90s through June 2! This is almost unheard of.
Historically, the earliest recorded 100°F day was on March 26, and all but 10 days in April have recorded high temperatures of 100°F or more, as well as every day in May, including highs at or above 110°F in nine days in May (Up to a max recorded high of 114°F on one occasion on May 30).
Not that I'm complaining!
Knock on wood.
hey my tomatoe plants love the heat send it my way got to have heat to eat and this person LOVES to eat
To [sic] Hot (Like to Phoenix?) Well no, actually that's "Too Hot".
I don't often indulge in double posting, but this note seems more appropriate here than where I first posted it. That and of course I'm gloating!

So you're a graduate of the Dan Quayle school o' spellin'?hey my tomatoe [sic] plants love the heat send it my way got to have heat to eat and this person LOVES to eat
andHis most famous blunder occurred when he corrected student William Figueroa's correct spelling of "potato" to "potatoe" at an elementary school spelling bee in Trenton, New Jersey, on June 15, 1992.[15][16] Although he was relying on cards provided by the school which included the misspelling, Quayle was widely lambasted for his apparent inability to spell the word "potato".
If yer gonna screw up yer "to" and yer "too", then mebby ya ought "too" write it thus :Or maybe it was a Shakespearean question "To hot, or not to hot, that is the question."
To hot or not to hot– that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The outrageous heat and humidity,
Or to take arms against the heat
With a cold gin and tonic at the local bar
To hot or not to hot (or "to Phoenix or to Tucson?) – that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind too suffer
The outrageous heat and humidity,
Or too take arms against the heat
With a cold gin and tonic at the local bar
This is a nice, casual, family site, no one needs a spelling teacher.
We like our spell check, grammar checking, thesaurus master, Professor Nash! Take it easy, it's all in fun!-Mezz
Yes! That's called payback! (And it can be done!)It's even more fun when you catch Nash in an error!
