to small battery

Has any one have starting problem with a 2008 IQ 600 2 up rider 600? Mind had a battery that was 14 amp hr.Would not turn over enough to start it when it got below 5 below 0. Dealer had to put in a 20 amp hr. at my cost $170.00. I think that it should of had that in it when new.Works fine now.The box for the battery was big enough for the larger battery only had take out the filler for smaller battery. should start in cold weather.

Think I read somewhere back that that starter gear was under for the job. Might want to toss that out in another forum like www.polarisfiles.com and see if that didn't get a recall on the starter gear or starter motor.

Next time you need a battery, measure it and then go to---> www.batterystuff.com or better still ----> http://www.batterymart.com/p-Big-Crank-ETX20L-Battery.html (made in the good old usa)

Yea they did put in a usa battery .20 amp Hr was about $110.oo. Tha rest was labor . They had to rerout the cables.Thanks for the reply.The battery is a low maint.It was 18 beliw on moring & it turned it over like it was tryiny to rip the clucth off.
