Togwotee Help

Question - any suggestions on sled rental and what we can expect for pricing for Togwotee?

We have a cabin all lined up already, but I was shocked by sled rental prices.

I'm a pretty good rider (not pro by any means) but I was unsure if you recommend a guide. If so, what do they run?

Thanks!

I have only been there twice....But, go for the all inclusive package. Unless you are experienced, no other way, IMHO. The price of the rental includes gas and oil. And the all inclusive includes a guide, breakfast and dinner and happy hour. Does not include tips. After the first half hour, you will be happy that you have a guide.
Great people out there and you will have a great time. But be careful, it is addicting.

My buddy just rented his for the week we are going. M8 for 3 days and Pro for 2. Total was 1150. You really don't have another option unless you wanna bring one up from dubious or Jackson.

To truly enjoy all there is to offer a guide is a MUST, not to mention you can get into some real trouble fast if not with someone who knows the place. Rent there too, the equipment they rent is in perfect condition and you will have 0 problems.

Why not call Togwotee with these questions for acurate answers?
At $12,000 a copy I would be charging way more for rentals then what they do.
First time out to Togwotee I blew up a rental and they gave me a replacement with no issues, I later in the week hit a tree stump and blew out the belly pan and a few other misc. parts, I had a $1000 deductable insurance plan on the rental. $660 on my credit card since that is the damage total. Moral of the story.........."Total the sled if you smuck it up". For another $340 on the credit card I could of honed my skills on cliff drops.

No matter how good you think you are, you will find out how bad of a rider you really are at Tog..
Nothing better than doing it up like a "Rock Star" at Tog. Fly in, shuttle picks you up, All exclusive package! 16oz. Prime rib dinner every night after the Happy Hour, hit the hot tubs if you got anything left in you! and call home and tell the wife, "Oh......it's okay" (heaven forbid you are having the best vacation of your life). And get your picture taken by a Pro on Picture taker hill for a souvenir. Rental sled covers gas and oil and you get, if your lucky the world famous "Carter" as your guide.

I'll be out there next week Pete Bren told me I should try to get you as a guide. We were told we will have a guide everyday but not who. Maybe we will hook up. Jan 2-7.
