Had a great experience at TML last week. Well worth the 3400 mile road trip. Started off ruff with the M7 quiting in BFE while exploring on our own, then missed social hour but the rest of the week made up for it.

Lefty showed us a great time with lots of fresh powder, climbs, and STUCKS with our short tracks. We had a great group of guys from MI and WI. pics to come soon but they just don't do justice to the area.

Lefty mentioned he had a present for someone from his Mexican vaction

Lefty-

I hope you are starting to bank your energy reserves. A little more than 4 weeks and we will be there to tin horn and high hole.

He's been eating those snickers:)

We had great roads until Paw Paw, by charlotte it was clear again. We were home by 9:30pm Saturday, around 28 hours with gas, food and time changes.

The best thing to do at TML is to miss the trail over a creek and have 2 sleds totally disappear from sight, and find yourself frantically thrashing around trying to get out of the water. What a way to start the day, good to see you guys had a good time.

That crater did not get along with us very well. We were there two times and had 5 total stucks within 20 yards of that spot and 10 stucks on that hill. There was a certain guide who got stuck 3 times wihin several yards there.

We went thru there friday, but the warm weather took its toll on the snow it was setting up a little. We did find a couple of pine trees on the backside though, Some day i will learn to look away from them. Ready to go back yet?? Did you get much from this last storm? We ended up with 8-14", but it blow around and made monster drifts:)

I had a pic of our crater that we dug, but it didn't do it justice so I didn't post. All I can think is Lefty had to be thinking what the H did I get myself into with these jokers. For some reason cats love to eat those pine trees, we had several issues with them too. I would go back tomorrow if I could. Although, on our first day I was hoping to survive I was so tired. The elevation was killing me.
We got hammered by the last storm. We only got about 7-8 inches from the first blast with all the wind, but Wed we got a about 12" of lake effect, a great lake event for us is usually about 2" so it was a fun storm to see. . Ended up with 19", which for us is alot to have after several storms.
