Join up....
we are riding out of Mackenzie Ranch this week. The conditions on this side of the hill are great. This season annual late March ride is going to be excellent with this seasons snow piling up. Today, day 2 it started snowing in the late afternoon and dumped a couple of inches to freshen things up.

Join up for later in March. The conditions in the mid-west are reason enough.

Enjoy Cooke, wishing we were headed there more this season. Hope we get to see ya on another trip soon. How is the old 163 pulling? Any carnage this season?

Day 3....
Headed up to Brooks Lake and the Austin peak area.
The snow has a good hero base in the trees at elevation and the fresh that fell yesterday piled on nicely. Made for some fun climbing in the trees.
There will be plenty of playing left in March, lots of base in the hills.

Wayne, its MOMSMOTORSPORTS@HOTMAIL.COM ..your nimble two typing fingers must be messing with you.

Here are more conditions reports for the area. More March base was falling today.

Day 4, More boondocking in the creek beds and trees.
The cold weather created some sugary snow conditions in some areas.
The new fluff is resting on top of a crusty layer. Just below the crusty layer is a fine mess of sugar that washes away and collapses like quick sand. It did snow lightly all day long again here in the low area.

Notice the layers of snow in the first picture. I pushed the fluff sideways creating the waves. Then you can see the crusty based up layer that is cut away where the shovel is resting. And then, sugar are under that.
