Well, As many of you know i went to Togwotte 2 years ago and had a bad experience and was to say the least, kind of negative about the whole deal. Well, I just got back from my return trip and all i can say is what a difference 2 years makes. I was there for 5 days of riding...

Food...Breakfast was okay, appetisers were great and so were the supper options..Way better than last time

Rooms..Were very clean and well kept but then again we had no problems last time

Rental shop...Super nice people that WAY out of there way to help me get my sled running right even though it was to no avail, they still did all they could to help me

Guides..I rode with brent the first day and had carter the rest of the week even though i was only able to ride with him 1 day (sled troubles) We had great parings with some great people and carter felt more like you were riding with an old freind than with a guide. He made me feel comfortable and even pushed me a little.

So, I guess in conclusion, I beat the drum pretty loud last time because i had a bad experience and it's only fair that i do the same now that i have had a great experience.

I have to concur. I was out there a couple years ago and had a mediocre experiance at best. This year was great and I can't wait to get back.

My crew and I had a great time riding with you and Carter. Hope you get your sled running or maybe it works now that you are at sea level.

Hope to ride with you this winter in the UP.

How was the food? Selection and quality??? Do they have a salad bar or dinner salads? The last two years the saloon was a better place to eat and the happy hour appys weren't much better than throwing a bag of chips on the table.

I was out there for 4 days of riding last week and except the usual hassles of settling up the bill for the trip I had no complaints (although it wasn't all that bad and only took 10 minutes). Our group of 6/7 rode off-trail with Jeff for 3 days and had a blast. He pushed everyone to their limits during the trip and we all left better riders because of it. I'd consider myself lucky if I were able to ride with Jeff again...he was quick to point out errors if we asked for advice about situations we were just through and had a few good quotes that got everyone laughing during some of our stops. The food was good and appetizers (pot stickers, meatballs, chicker nuggets, fried ocre and southwestern rolls were pretty tasty. I don't remember a salad bar but salad was included in the package. We tried a lot of different food from the menu and it was pretty good. Oh, and soaking in the hot-tubs was a nice finish to the day...I just wish they were closer (or in) the lodge.

Team Ridehard went out the 2nd week in January and everything was awesome! We did the full winter package with a cabin. Food and everything was excellent and we had "Lefty" as a guide and wow can he ride! We had such a good time we are in the process of booking another trip in March! Awesome experience for our first time out West and wouldn't do it any other way with the accomoditations Tog had to offer. Thanks again to Lefty and see you in a couple weeks if all comes together!
