Togwotee or the Snowies?

We are going west next Friday and contemplating either Tog or the Snowies. It looks like Tog was been getting pounded for the last week just wondering if anyone has current conditions on the Snowies. My first choice would be going to the Snowies(just because of distance) but want to make sure the conditions are good. Any input would be appreciated.

Togwotee for sure, but there probably running out of lodging, try crooked creek in Du Bois there running a special on lodging for march $35 bucks a night per man + they are at 8600 ft.

Lava Mtn. runs specials too. I suspect you have never been to Tog. or you would've never asked such a question. lol. Like the NAPA man says, "Get the good stuff". I look at it as, I am rolling down the highway so whats another couple hours. If time and money allows keep driving.

Keep driving, I'm at Tog now getting ready to head out for my third day of riding and conditions have never been better! Well except for 08, lol

Thanks for the input guys. Ive been to both spots before and everyone know Tog is the place to be. I'm just looking to shave a little off the drive time and still get into to deep fresh pow. So, I guess I'm just looking for some current conditions in the Snowies since Tog seems to be getting hammered lately.

I am thinking Revkev is at the snowies right now and if we get lucky he will post a snow report.

Snowies is finally getting decent snow. Supposed to snow off and on all week. Base is around 75 inches @ north French Creek. Wind has been ridiculous!!! Even more so than usual.
