Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum

Temps and humidity have been “oppressive “ at home. My local tv station covers the eastern part of the UP and showed Naubinway’s humidity as somewhat acceptable. So I grabbed the rv and headed up to the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum.
It has been a couple years since I was last there and I knew they have expanded and added more sleds and memorabilia. It did not disappoint. I will post what I can, enjoy!

A smaller version of the Homelite sled is what hooked me back in 1970. I bet the “stretched” Arctic Cat was dreamed up after a few beers. The wire going up the hood of the Sabre was designed to cut fence wire, should you accidentally run into one.

Who would have thunk, a diesel sled. Check out the exhaust pipe!

Check out the yellow Trailbuster. Not sure what the screw is for on the back? Ice fishing auger? It’s skis are made from culvert pipes “as to have a natural runner”.
