i got a 09 turbo dragon and it wont go over 93 mph. im not a speed guy but when 600s are going by you at the end is kinda embarrassing. but it gets there in a hurry but stops at 93 and thats at about 7400 rpms.

when are top speeds of other guys that own turbo 4 strokes?

If 600s are passing you on high end you have a problem!!!!!!.lol Sounds like turbo is not kicking in..... do you feel turbo lag then big power surge? If not problem is in turbo. You should see an honest 105 mph.

My 07 FST runs at about 8400 rpm's. It will hit 100 pretty easy don't really know what top end is but you have some type of problem. I would make sure you don't have a boost leak which alot of them do. Make sure you are running the right belt. Make sure your deflection is right. Polaris files has a FAQ go over there and read and read tons of information over there. Hope this helps good luck.

FSTs are pretty darn fast!! Yep check the the low risk stuff like belts but that would be more of an over rev condition unless smartbox does not allow that like Yams.....then very well could be belt. I would think you would have put spare belt on as soon as any stock 600 ate you up.....I know I would have or lite that baby with a match since glows in the dark anyway when gets red hot but always can roast some hot dogs for your buds.lol. Don't worry tho that is normal. If your turbo is going goofy take the sled into the dealer for more expert help then call your buds with 600s & smoke the sheet out of them but 1st bet a case a beer & don't tell them you fixed it. Ha Ha :D

Your rpms are low, I would check clutching, belt or gearing. I had my speedo up to 118 on a hard road and a long pull. your rpms should be 8400 or so. The computer could also be limiting power output. Check fuel quality, water temps. There could also be a problem with too much heat under the hood. SLP makes a nice vent system that works well. If everything is right, 100 mph should be no problem with good conditions.

ill look into all those. it takes off up to 90mph but then falls off. ive never seen 8400 rpms before. sled has 1600 miles on it. you can hear the turbo all the way through the power curve but wont rev up tight past 7800. whats the right belt number?

belt

3211121 is the correct belt for my 2011 LX Turbo., Boy I had the same problem and just cant remember if it was a boot problem or what it was, but almost positive it was not in the clutch area. If you cant figure it out let me know and I will call my dealer ,but yeah 100 to 110 is not a problem on this sled. Actually now that I think of it I think it had a leak in one of the boots for the turbo. It should definately go between 8000 and 8400 RPMs

it has the correct belt. i did take the tank and seat off to look everything over(what a pain in the arse just to get to it the airbox) idid check all the hose clamps and had one clamp between the throttle body and the intake that was really lose and you can see were its leakin onto the tunnel. another question is is the electric boost control soppost to only have 2 hose to it and have a single male connection with nothin on it(such as a cap)?

thanks everyone with there input. work has been to slow to let a dealer guess at it and have lots of labor in it when it was something i could figure out
