Track studding and the track

I recently studded my 1.25 track 144 up the middle and I found a few things interesting. When I stopped at the dealership and picked up the coring tool I had asked for 2 because I heard that they get dull before all the holes are drilled. He recommed I use a die grinder with the core bit and it really worked great. No problems and went fast.

After all the holes had been drilled I installed the studs a torqued them to 15lbs as recommended by woodys which seem to cause a concave area between the studs.
My question is has anyone else seen this. I used standard studs 1.325" with square backers.
Its on a Polaris so its not a single ply track

I just did 144 up the middle on a predrill hacksaw. I used 48 double adn 48 single backers. I ran into the same issue on the the rungs that I had the double touching each other. I tried all sorts of things like tightning them down in stages and still came up with the little hump, so what I am saying is from my expirences it is ok and does the same on my setup.

Pretty sure it's normal because they're designed to do that. There was an explanation given to me as to why, but I don't remember exactly what it was. At any rate, it's done it every time I stud a track. And unlike some Indy500's who shall remain nameless :) , I've never had a stud pull out or break (knock on wood), and have bent only a small handful. I wouldn't worry about it.
