I have an old house that needs a lot of work. Now that I have a pending sale on current house, I am thinking ahead to future house I'd like to move into. Basically what I am looking to do is get some guys together and have 2 work days to finish gutting out the old house, It's 70% gutted now. I could credit workers $20 pr hr of labor and apply it to lodging. I would also give you free lodging while you are here working and feed you all your meals during the entire duration. We could have bonfire in evening along with drinks and make it fun. I'm thinking late September at the earliest. I now have 2 weekends in Oct obligated to weddings,,,11th & 18th

If there is any interest please let me know. Here are a few pics of the old place!

Would make a great restoration, call This Old House. Any way to keep the some of the old world charm without breaking the bank?

I would love to come up Lenny but don't have much free time in the next couple months. Kind of hard to make the round trip without taking a day off work on one side or the other of the weekend and I just can't manage that right now. Keep the thread going and if I know when you'll be working if a last minute trip is an option I'll jump on it.

I've been in this house, not much more to demo. The last time I saw it,it was real close to having new elect, plumbing and heat put in it. This is one cool old house, with great history. Feel free to lean on me for the hydronic heat part of it Lenny. I'm also very proficient in sitting around a fire drinking beer. I will swing by this week end.

what I really need is a drawing of the components and where they belong in the system. I understand you would need to know what I plan to do and I can give you that info some time. You let me know the best way to work this. I still nee to find a back up high eff boiler, if you ever run across a replacement unit I would buy it (not anytime soon as I am currently broke.)

Chad, some day I will be living in this bad boy and I cannot wait but it will happen. Just got back from doing some yard maintenance over there and starting to plan actual work on house

Lenny call me and we can figure out what you want to do . I can then draw it up and send a PDF. I will be back in Greenland in early Oct. Have to pick up the Cream Puff F150. There will be 3 HVAC guys with me. We could lay it all out in no time. Took Yvette by the blue house, she can't wait to see it done.
