If all goes well with work and weather I plan to head up to the Keweenaw the first weekend in December. Just four short weeks! Who else is headed up?

So far off to a cold & snowey winter in Vilas 1-3 tonight again so hoping LES kicks in the Yoop soon to support an early opener for both areas.

I am planning to go up to the Keweenaw Dec 5th thru the 11th. Last year we went up the same weekend and had great snow but my brother blew up his new used sled. That ended our trip after 40 miles. Hopping for good snow this year. If someone in our group blows up Its hotel time for them and trail time for us.

In our group, its either you rent or you stay at the cabin the rest of the week. Lol

Has anyone gone up the weekend before December first? I just got a new job so no vacation this winter. But I'll have the 27th thru 30th for Thanksgiving and was wanting to ride once this year. I mainly do off trail but you have to use the trails to get there and I don't want to get in trouble. Any help would be great thanks!
