trail 11 between WI and MI

I seem to be getting conflicting reports about the section of trail 11 between Winchester WI and where it connects to trail 2 in MI (Iron River Trail). can anyone give me with certainty the details? is it open? I understand grooming may or may not be in process. Thanks

11S from wisconsin to trail 2 michigan is closed
They are saying the real reason it's closed is due to the lack of club members in the area

Trail 11N (Southboundary Rd) / 11S (Winchester, WI):

Overall Raiting: CLOSED for the season. Seeking volunteers to help open the trails!

The club is activly seeking help to get the trail evaluated and prioritized for opening 11S next summer. One of the areas most favorite trails was lost due to logging operations and an inability to reroute. Then, the task of getting the trail back open was hindered by beaver flooding issues and a lack of labor. We need volunteers to step up and help get this gorgeous trail open next season!

My family used to really enjoy this trail. I remember when it first went in - it was a fantastic addition that really took some pressure off trail 1 from Presque Isle. We've had many great riding experiences on that trail over the years. I'm from the Chicago suburbs, but I'd gladly come up for a weekend or two to help out if it meant that 11S could re-open. I might even persuade one of my older sons to join me.

11N North of Bessemer/Wakefield was a very cool trail. Once past the ski hills. Winding through the woods, narrow. Like the good ole days. Broke trail through there several times. Almost like back woods riding but actually on designated trails.:victorious:
