Will trail 13 from Greenland to Twin Lakes be open in December? There is suppose to be a new land owner on the Twin Lakes end. Any Update?

Boy, I sure hope so! One of my favorite loops up there!

Hope so also, I love running that trail. Seems like it gets very little traffic and beats just running 3 straight up.

It does get lower traffic as people see it's a 36 mile loop and think that's too far. They don't realize how fast it is for the most part. :)

That would be a real bummer if the land owner wouldn't in my opinion where you come up that hill or down depending on which direction you are traveling, one of the prettiest spots in that area with that dense old growth there, fingers crossed that it stays open

was wondering the same, but since they had the washout the year before and the surplus of rain this year I wonder if we will see it reopen this year, that was a favorite twisty trail to take and also scenic.

I thought I had heard the washouts were so severe it may not reopen at all. I'm sure someone can update us.

I rode a lot of the Loop on ATV this fall from South Range. There was some wash outs and I could not get thru one about 5 miles west of the junction heading back towards the west. The bad washout is between the Junction and Freida close to the Redridge Dam. The Bridge on the Grade seemed to be ok.

DNR says their section of trail will be opening in 2021,the loop is going through private land owners but it looking like it to will be a go 109 will have reoutes trying to get operators to take on the extra hours required to groom the new reroute

Adverse weather has high costs. Way too much of it anymore! I am a Drainage Dist. Commissioner, our area received 40+ inches rain within 75 days this spring. I witnessed things I didn't know were possible. Devastating is the only word that fits. Freda loop has been one of are favorites for a long time. Hope it gets restored.
