Trail 14 headed SE out of Big Bay towards Marquette - still closed?

For the last season or two I think, Trail 14 immediately leaving Big Bay headed SE resulted in a dead end. Instead, you had to go SW to join 5 and 310 to get to 14 to Marquette. Is this the case again this year? The map I'm looking at is from 2012. Thanks!

PS - perhaps interestingly, the DNR website shows it as open.
