x2 we went up that way only to find no tracks and no groomer and then a trail closed sign.... Would be nice to know what the deal is. Met a group of youngsters that was staying in baraga and they said the last 2 miles of the trail to there hotel was mud and they were worried about getting back to their hotel.... Wanted to get up and see the bay there but not gonna deal with mud....

X2 on the private land issues for the old trail. There are plans for a new 159, but it's mostly on county roads and uses quite a different route.
