Rode 2 from Florence, WI west to Watersmeet today. Florence trails were surprisingly good. Not many rocks/gravel.
For some reason, once you cross the bridge into Michigan the trail seems like it has less snow on it and has a lot of gravel mixed in. This is the case all the way to Iron River, MI. I would give this section of trail a "poor" rating.
Once you pull into Iron River and continue heading west all of sudden the trail is much nicer without the gravel. From Iron River all the way to Watersmeet was actually pretty good. I would give a "good" rating.
Overall disappointed from Florence to Iron River but surprised from Iron River to Watersmeet.
