Trail 8 Bridge Out Trail Closed (Champion Area)

I contacted the MI DNR today looking for a status/update on the trail 8 bridge repair/trail closure.

Paraphrasing their response: The steel is being delivered tomorrow morning 1/18/2018. Contractors should have the bridge fixed by middle of the week of 1/22/2018. There was a delay in the delivery of the steel coming from Alabama.

You can get around it crossing the creek/swamp on the north side. Follow the tracks. Locals have been doing it for wks
