Trail 8 - Champion to 15/8 junction & Pipeline

We were on it Saturday on our way back from Big Bay & Marquette and was in descent shape and met groomer , not too bad with rocks either . Sure do like the way they have the trail through the Park rather than over all the hills the last 2 years.

Thanks again! did you see any open water areas? I heard this was an issue.

A rode these trails yesterday.
Sidnaw trail 15N to L'Anse, 14 over to Big Bay, Trail 5 south to Koski, then 8 west back to Sidnaw. I have been riding Trail 5 between Koski and Big Bay since 2002. trail 5 was in the best condition I have ever ridden it in all of those years. Trail 8 between champion (koski) and Sidnaw was almost as good as 5 was. I was very impressed with the grooming efforts in the last couple of days. We also rode the pipeline last Saturday and it was very choppy. Last night was PERFECT. Mid week low traffic and -6 degree temps last night sure helped!

Michigamme's groomers (Moose Country) have been doing a great job the last few years I've rode in their territory. I've heard they have an older guy that just loves being out in the groomer, spends a lot of hours out there and it shows.
