The trail cleanup seems to have been a total success . I was only to help on Sat but what a good time it is to hang out with everybody. I tell you what,,,the time with all the people makes it for me. I me yea,,,we work but it's not hard and I feel like I am having more fun than anything. Richard Krupp did an incredible job at the sat evening cookout. If you have never been to a trail cleanup and have wanted to, I strongly suggest you consider it. It really is a good time and I'm not just saying that to see more people up here, we had a decent turnout. You just meet so many people and at this age in life that has become important to me. Riding a wheeler, being outside in the woods, hanging out with nice folks,,,oh yea,,,the food!!!! Seeing the UP for many people in a different season is real nice. Thanks Mike Sabo, club Pres for all you do to make this club not a political thing, just good folks making things happen!!!!

Sorry I missed the event ending cookout, but we finished up early Sat and decided to head back to get some work done back at the compound. Hats off to all those that chipped in and a big applause for all the organizational work Richard did too. Lots of different jobs and he really was organized with who was going to do what and when, as well as needed equipment. Lots of work and smarts to pull that off like he did.

Ditto on this end Lenny, I had a great time working out in the woods for three days. Just seeing where we ride without the snow cover, makes me appreciate the efforts the groomers are putting out even more. I now know why they call it Rockland.....what some rough terrain. Everyone worked hard, but we all made it a fun time. Another big thank you goes out to our trail lunch makers, who ever they may be, I can't remember who they were, sorry. I also am glad that I got to meet some fellow JD members who I now consider friends. It is always nice to make new friends. Maybe we can set up a ride for all the trail workers this winter, that would be fun. Lenny, I also enjoyed the tour of your town hall project, you did a great job. If Keith ever kicks me out, I will come and rent from you, lol. It was nice meeting everyone and I look forward to riding with new friends this winter.......THINK SNOW!!!!!

Hey Skylar, three guesses on who was the only casualty on Tuesday. Yep some of us started a little early due to a large number of trees down on trail 3. You are good you probably got it on the first guess!
