Trail info signs

As snowmobilers we all enjoy when we come to a intersection and find that someone took the time to number the intersection for the map or put up a map with a X that says you are here when you are at that intersection. Well as someone who marks, brushes, and helps maintain trails for all of us to enjoy (which so many of us on here do). I came up to one of are intersections that I put a map with a X that says you are here to find out that someone pryed open what I had the map in to STEAL THE MAP. I would think if you own a snowmobile which takes gas and oil to run you could afford a $2 map. I just could not believe it when I saw this really ***. I would like to say thank you to all of you that help make trails happen and all of you who respeect everything it takes to make it all happen and most important land owners because with out them we would not have this problem.

You're Right

There's not much else to say other than you are absolutely right. Hopefully the right people red your post.

I would like to thank all make the trails what they are but I don't think that the good people that belong and use this site are the one's that vandalize the trail info signs... There are always a few that just don't get it.

Join a local snowmobile club. You can get as many trail maps as you need at the meetings.

I agree with that and your welcome . I just still can't believe someone could not afford a $2 map.

This is in walworth county behind Corners inn bar n grill. I'm the president of the club(Darien sunset riders) and the one who put it up. I should have it fix later today or tomorrow.
