Trailer is a Ice box???

Now I have a dumb question...after ridding I put the sleds in the trailer and when I go back out there a day or two later eveything ice a block of ICE. Is it because the top vent is closed and nothing is breathing or is that typically what happens with enclosed trailers during the cool down. Normally I drive them out and stick them back in the garage but didn't this time. Vent open or closed??? What do you guys do???

^ ditto being in the sun, otherwise leaving your freshly parked sled in there starts to melt everything, but as the cold sets in it just re-freezes.

Best bet is before you park the sled inside, lift and drop the back and front to try and get all the snow/ice out you can, it helps a little.

I also think leaving the vent open will allow moisture to escape. When the trailer sits in the sun it heats up quick and everything melts and condensates. If the vent is closed and its a well sealed trailer there is nowhere for the moisture to escape.

my trailer has two side vents, , not sure what you call em but you see them on semi truck tractors and trailers. One up high in the front and one lower in the back opposite side.
I usually leave them cracked open which helps a bit.
