Trailer storage

I'm looking at putting up some aluminun cabinets up in my trailer. does any know of a place to buy them or what do you have in yours.

I have all pit pal stuff in my trailer, pricey but good stuff. They were in zion illinois....

What types of stuff are you looking to store?

Thought about shelfs, cabinets and racks in mine but ended up with a couple of the big totes with self contained covers. Just throw them in the trailer between the sleds and go.

i use totes now i'm tried of moving them each time i drive in or out looking for alum. wall cabinets to hold gallons of oil and other things

I was the same way. Had totes and plastic milk crates with gear that I had to move around whenever loading/unloading. Probably worse with my in-line trailer as I had to keep changing sides after each sled. This fall i added a 48" overhead 2 door cabinet for toolbox, parts, and misc. supplies. Then for Christmas I got 2 multi-use bins that work great for oil and misc items like straps. These were manufactured by Pitposse. They are pricy, but not the most expensive. So far I am happy with the quality and ease of installation. AND nothing is on the floor now. Life is good.

How do you mount to the walls if there are no studs in the walls??????

Couple of totes on the floor is worth the slight pain to me versus having a cabinet full of crap take a swan dive on top of a $12k sled. Aluminum's finite fatigue life scares me.

Over the years I've learned to take a lot less crap for emergencies and spares and the crap I do take with (and never use) is much lighter these days.

I made my own....


I can store a lot of oil in there plus other stuff. Most trailers have sidewall posts. I don't know of any utility type trailers that don't. I have a lock on it to keep the door from coming open if I were to end up in the rhubarb
