The Paradise area night rider's have a website. Put it in Google and it will come up. Or go to Michigan Snowmobile Association trail conditions and you will find a lot of the most current conditions. Trail 45 from the falls is officially open and groomed fair to good and sounds like the water holes are froze. Trail 8 has 8 miles of logging. It is groomed and can be gotten through, not the best ride but it will get you from pine stump to Paradise. Trail 8 south to Raco through the swamp, the power lines, the whole trail has not been touched. They have one broke down groomer on the point trail they need to fix and they need a full crew and all three groomers to break open the south 8 trail. The earliest they will have the groomer fixed is Wednesday. They are having big problems finding help to run groomers and get trails going. They had complete non club members open up and do major brushing to get trail 8 west open to pine stump. Another pair of mechanics from down south heard they were having problems with the groomers and stopped at the groomer barn and Jimmy rigged the one groomer to get it going or it would still be down as they waited for parts. They are trying, but as they say the old are getting old and the young are leaving. We at home are fighting to keep the dairy farm from freezing up so I am not throwing blame at anybody. We would have been heading that way this weekend, but canceled due to the cold weather. Stay warm everybody.
