Was sad to hear about this this morning, Chris and Sue have done a nice job with the hotel. Hope they can fix things and be back up and running asap.

It is a sad event that happened to two great people. I went by the motel about an hour ago on a trip to town. The fire was able to be contained to the section where the two wings intersected.

Hope to see them get things all fixed up asap.

Just sent them an email yesterday about coming up this weekend, hadn't heard back yet, guess now I know why.

Such a shame after they put so much work into the place. Hopefully they have a good insurance company and can get everything handled. Really to bad!

If there is any bright spot to this, it did not injure or kill anyone, it is at the tail end of sledding season so there should not be a huge loss of revenue. If all goes well, they should be able to bounce back from this with little disruption. My bests wishes to these folks in their restoration.-Mezz

they say things happen for a reason, an answer will come. Just happy know that no one was hurt, and it was not a busy time for them. They will bounce back, they work hard and good things come to good people. Keep on truckin' you had a plan , it will come together in time! Good luck, Dave and Lori

I've stayed there several times over the last 2 years, great place and great people. I sure hope everything works out for them in getting it rebuilt. Good luck Chris and Sue from Bob in Dayton
