I've stayed there a few times when we had larger groups. Last few hundred feet are up a side street from the trail. When they are getting snow, it's pretty much a non-issue, as that side street is not busy. Even when it's bare pavement, it's not that bad so long as you are smart about pointing your sled which direction you'd like to go before hitting the street. Never had an issue with sleds sitting in that lot, either.
Even though the property is a bit older and not as nice as the Ramada, the people there have always been very friendly. It's also nice to have bars & restaurants just across the street.
