Tree changing

JOHN,

Was planning on coming up your way in two weeks (9-20 to 9-24) to see the fall colors for the first time. Do you think that is to early. I been looking at the web cams it doesn't look like they have started to change yet . Looking at staying in Copper Harbor.

I think that will be a little early to catch the peak. There will be some colors, the trees are just now starting to pop. Best colors happen (on average) from around Mass City to Toivola first and come the last few days in Sep/first few in Oct. Average peak from Hancock north to Delaware is Oct 5-10. Delaware to Copper Harbor is usually a few days later being closer to the lake.

No color to see in Phelps yet on UP border more of a green fade going on right now..... Zippo in Wausau on Monday. Probably will change quickly with a murky sunless week but been sunny as of late.
