O.k. guys I tried to tackle the trailer wash and wax today. The wash went well untill I noticed some tree sap on the side.I tried a cleaner and wax product and all that did was shine up the trailer but did not get the sap off. It seems like it is in the paint. So I tried a marine cleaner and wax product that I have for my boat that is for heavy oxidation, no luck. So who has the magic product that will make my life easier? Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Keith

Goo B Gone works very well for Pine Sap. I'm sure it would work good for other tree sap as well. WD40 will work very well also, for most light sap issues. Any product that has a petroleum solvent will take off the pine sap. The older the sap, the harder it is to get off though. I have pine trees all around me. Deal with it a lot.

If you go to an auto parts store, look for a tar remover.

Try getting a clay bar. I have used them on cars and they get everything off and leave a smooth finish in their path. They work extremely well for stuff really stuck on to paint and clearcoat.

"I can't believe the size of the hail in that storm". .......... no still can't do it. I bet a Triton wouldn't of dented up like my R&R. The acorns are hugh this yr.(means lots of snow) I can live with the dents if that's true.

OK. True story about hail. A buddy of mine has a less than year old Legend inline. It did suffer hail damage. Roof and one side. To the tune of $7300.00. This figure was just short of a total. What did he do you may ask? He pocketed the check.
