Trees and powerlines

Hopefully the heavy snow doesnt knock too many trees and power lines down to block trails or worse yet hurt or kill someone . It could get ugly.

Wow!

I seriously have NOT seen this KIND of snow in recent memory.
It has the consistancy of CLAY! :(
I got home from work at 6am and spent 2 1/2 hours accomplishing
NO PROGRESS trying to "open up" part of my driveway.
Had to call in a PLOW for the first time ever.
It is now 3pm and snowing harder.
Extremely way too much Way too late.
Where was this in Early Winter?
All our trees look to break. Pretty in some sense.
I've seen this much Powder snow in the U.P. many times,...
but 16+ inches of snow-CLAY and ALL the trails are closed.
BUMMED!

(and sore)
:)

I found it to be dense foam. this snow is hard to describe. Trees and Power lines are our friends! (for riding around, under and thru)

Tree's .... i have hit a few. They kind of jump out at me at the worst time.
Powerlines.... always liked them, good riding, much better luck around those for a idiot like myself. Here is our favorite " power line " shot from 05-06 in a place we called "the bowls".

Big Vin,
We just saw a bit of history for our part of the state. Heaviest Snowfall on record for the month of March in 122 years. We know that March storms are common for us but that was a Whopper and I agree such a waste of snow and energy for this late in the season.
