There is a group of three of us that will be heading out west for the first time.. we are looking for lodging and one of us will be renting for the entire trip.. Just looking for some imput on a place to lodge with a kitchen and maybe tavern or restaurant close by.. Just someplace in the bighorns.. Looking to rent anything but a yamaha.. It would be nice to find a place you dont have to return the sled to everynight.. We plan to go end of february into early march.. any help appreciated thanks

A group of us are headed their too. We are staying at bear lodge bearlodgeresort.com they have cabins a lodge / hotel with a restaurant , bar , polaris sled rentals , guides and more. You can ride trails and backcountry right from the parking lot.

We are heading out on the 15th of Febuary staying at Elk View this time. Stayed at Bear Lodge the last half dozen times but decided to try Elk View as some friends we are going with prefer Elk. Bear Lodge is older and more rustic, (bar area) but very nice. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. The motel was renovated a few years back and has a pool and hot tub area. Rentals and gas on site. You won't be dissapointed, have fun.....be safe.
