Triple Use Trails - Trail 418 in UP

Trail 418 (RR grade) east of AuTrain is now a true triple use trail according to DNR's press release on 2/7/19.

As you can see from the attached current photo from DNR, this snowmobile trail is also now open to personal watercraft. Sleds on the side, PWC down the center.
Note to sledders - center lane requires current watercraft registration.
In the summer it's open to ORVs as well.

I thought the same thing but the DNR email yesterday explaining the problems believes it will be cleared up "in a few days".
Sounds they been to the dispensary.

Yeah there was a plugged culvert. All good now. There will be some work in there this summer for sure. That was during the warm up rain episode we saw. Sleds were getting stuck. Those who made it were wet. AlgerSorva just took over this section of trail before winter this year. Imagine going in to that in a groomer. Your choices = back up 6 miles or say a prayer and go fer it......
