Triton Trailer set pricing?

You have to open up the search like you did for your AC & know what you are looking for. Find a dealer with a non current that wants to move the thing & you will get a good deal. Just be careful of the bait & switch.... oh you want a wheel jack ...oh you want shielding. I had a dealer do that to me on a sledbed trailer pissed me off, cussed him, slamed the door, walked & let everybody I knew about what he did to me never went in his place again & think he went out of biz. In my case the trailer was on the lot quoted a price then at deal time he started to nickle & dime me & not respect the quoted price.

Any suggestions on a dealer? My local dealer will not budge. I'm willing to travel.

Chilly - I'm sure you know there are a bunch of dealers in the Elkhart area. I'd start there. A lot of them have ads in the Indiana Auto & RV newspaper.

I haven't bought a new trailer before, but that's probably where I would start.

There's also a guy in Wisconsin that was very helpful to me a couple years ago when I was looking into a new trailer:

Leroy with Big O's Trailers 608-742-2473

I can't remember what brand he sold, but I remember thinking his prices were good.

Along the IN toll Road is trailer OEM heaven as many many built there. I orderd my United transport trailer from WI dealer then picked it up at IN factory saved a bunch doing that. I just figured you already knew that since from IN.

Leroy with Big O's sells Legend. I was very happy buying from them. Great service after sale too. They sell the less expensive Thunder trailer also.

Triton builds a quality trailer, but in my opinion they are way over priced. Lots of other trailer manufacturers that also build quality for far less money.
