Tunnel Polishing

Went out to the garage after I bought some new polish at the Milwaukee Snow Show. I spent about 90 minutes to get the shine back. I used Gords polish with steel wool to clean it. Mothers to turn it nice and black. Then the new polish I used was RoyalBlue to keep the shine. I think I will do the it a few more times until its more shiny.

Looks good enough. I wouldn't do anymore, you can just come over and do mine. Nice job!

Finally know how to do bigger pictures. I did have someone on another site said when the wax is black use mineral spirits to clean it off. It worked a lot better. Have it all done now.

My wife is polishing her tunnel before we rebuild her M8. We'll touch it up after its all assembled. The left side was just sanded - it's a mirror finish now too.

Yep, 42 going on 28 I think. Yes, I did polish mine when I had it all apart.

Harvest, did you use the 000 steel wool? Just picked some up yesterday based on some other reading I've seen. I'm also going to find some Flitz later today at a local store to see how that works. I've used Mothers in that past and may use it again too. Thanks.

Yes thats what I used but I think the thing that really helped was wiping the wax off with mineral spirits. It seemed to clean a lot better. I do not know if it really matters what you use it seems to work the same.
