I recently put a new 121 x 15 x 1 studded track in my 2003 MXZ 600HO REV. I replaced the stock short tunnel protectors (or as the ski-doo parts fiche calls them radiator protector) with taller kimpex aftermarket pieces. My question is: are these approxamately 2-3' long plastic pieces the only ones that need to be installed/replaced with a studded track in this sled. A friend of mine studded his '07 MXZ rev and said there is another set of tunnel protectors I need up in the front of the tunnel by the drive cogs. Is this true or is the '03 different from the '07? From what I have heard the old ZX chassis only needed the protectiors that ran the length of the tunnel not up front, and from the ski-doo site I can't see anything that needs to go up front by the drive cogs.
